Hi, I’m Robert Feldbauer. I am the founder and President of MPM Global, LLC. Welcome to my website and blog.
I provide consulting, speaking and training with a primary focus on improving decision making and managing the unexpected on complex projects and advise senior leaders and provide an objective perspective for their organization’s projects.
For years, I have been involved in leading major projects from the Owner’s perspective to include several new hospital projects over $1B USD. I have hard fought experience combined with years of formal study and research of project management theory and practice. It is my contention that traditional project management tools and methods alone do not ensure project success and can even be the cause of failure if followed blindly. Knowledge and awareness of appropriate processes are required to understand and manage complexity. My mission is to be your trusted advisor for improving your understanding and leadership capabilities related to complex projects.
To that end, I write on project leadership, culture, team building, complexity and high reliability. On occasion, I will write about other leadership topics I hope you’ll find interesting that may not fit neatly into one of these categories. My goal is to create insightful, relevant content that you can put to use on your projects and elsewhere in your professional life.
I typically post twice a week. To make sure you don’t miss my newest posts, you can subscribe via e-mail. It’s quick, easy, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
